  To the south of here following this road, a massive, arched gateway leads
into a large, desert city.  A huge iron portcullis can be lowered and raised
within the portal to defend the city or allow the merchants and travelers

sandy woods that lie beneath the foothills of distant mountains.  Guards
walk the causeway above the city gates armed with bows.

  Between the walls of stone and iron spears that surround the northern reach
of the city sits the Gate of Yasaar, a high arch of carved stone and gilded

passage to the road leading north out of the city.  A patio of stones laid
out in mandala patterns across the threshold extends for twenty paces into 
the city into Yasir Row to the south.  West of here lies the building of the
blacksmith.  To the east lies a street bordered by beautiful gardens.
