is that despite Ahtieli's player actually having some PK skill, he's become so accustomed to having his lackeys there to support his efforts that he too becomes obsolete without the extra help. So basically, eliminate the support players and he's not going to bother sticking around to influence anything. At least not until his support unghosts. And he's not as much of a threat with just the staff of striking or eagle inscribed staff as his only lagging technique. Without his warrior/bard/thief support there to help lag, sealing the kills becomes too difficult, and therefore less fun, and also enables the paladins to fight without fear of being overwhelmed.
