I would rate them from Preferred to least preferred (in general only as sometimes I have certain specific RP reasons for a form):

Bear
Lion
Tiger
Alligator

(dire,wolverine, jaguar and ram) These are all the same imho.

Rhino
Gorilla

Just my opinion of those I have had or seen.
