It's how bad game balance gets fixed. It's how previously ignored bugs get changed.
This is how CF works. It's not just me, I'm just being candid.
If you and I have a fundamental disagreement and, how CF works is I grief you until you agree or go away, and then I mentally deaden the inevitable reprisals.
The latter part is how intelligent people, for varying durations, run businesses, careers, governments.
It works on Imms too, look at the good ones that got put down by the assholes, no matter who you consider the good or bad ones. I've seen both the cool and the shitty ones driven off by this very concept just like you have. It doesn't take 'authority' to do this, just persistence.
The reason this even not only works, but is also very very necessary, is that CF is terrible at adapting. Provided you stay within the rule framework, you're not going to be punished for doing it.
Ragers, and their power designs are solely kept around for nostalgia. They really serve no legitimate purpose because they have fewer enemies than most of the rest of the cabals and too many conditional allies.
You can call it a five year old's response, but a five year old has a very limited ability to be malicious so dismissing it as a cry for attention is purely disingenuous. People who are stubborn or backed into a corner and aren't in the mood to walk away are very different than someone throwing a tantrum.
Surprised you call yourself a teacher and are unaware of all this.
Somehow all you idiots saying this is balanced have forgotten down the line that CF was supposed to be less about prepping and then go and watch people intentionally roll Ragers *not* to kill mages BUT TO KILL MELEE CHARS. Including each other in the Rites.
I don't have to tell you all the different ways this is fucking stupid.
