Extra dam redux, leaders can heal themselves, and full-powered favor of the sun has many nice perks not easily gained via preps.

The Aegis is okay, but the rest of the maran powers can be reproduced on an acolyte invoker. I say bring back ward of pain to face up to Scions!!
