There are plenty of evil-only equips that are ridiculously powerful. Thunderlance is not good-only either, its just goodies have an easier time getting through to the mob who uses it. Prayer beads are nasty and a strong piece of equipment, sure, but I'd take the detect hidden mask or the shawtaby summon set or the high level exotic net or deafen progging high average mace or the etched dragonscale pendant etc etc etc anyday.
