Worms always work, can't save against.
You have roughly 3-4 hours before it kills you.
You can't get rid of the effect at all, even healing sleep if you somehow got it off just in time.
When you die, all your gear goes on the zombie.
The zombie only holds some of it.
Pretty much, the only defense I can think of is being too full to eat it or having an entire cursed inventory so nothing can be stole and planted (although not sure plant goes around that limit or not....never tried planting a bunch of rafts on someone).

Yeah, they suck. I only was going to use them once with my last poisoner on some asshat d-elf transmuter who kept full sacrificing everyone....but I forgot to uncurse the worms first. He deleted anyways.
