And it would be true even without any lag on flee simply because there is no lag on trying to dash while you fight somebody.
consider example: Joe and Bob is fighting, joe is spamming dash and bob is fleeing
example 1: Joe is parsed before Bob on each pulse:
Pulse 1:
Joe:flee
Bob:dash
joe is tagged
example 2: Bob is parsed before Joe.
Pulse 1:
Bob: dash (failed)
joe: flee
Pulse 2:
Bob: dash
joe is tagged
Is the command processing order was randomized, this wouldnt be the case. But it isn't, so it always works out in the dashers favor. Add to that that flee lags you for two pulses (normal characters in civilized terrain. It's not the flee that lags, but the moving between rooms, and the dasher even has a pulse to waste and he'll still catch the fleeing guy)
