Build up a nice set and use it to kill people. Regardless of how you get it, you have a 'loot' command for a reason. As long as you take the shit you want and actually put it to use, not just sit in the inn with your thumb up your ass, or flee away or teleport from any and all PKs, who really cares?

One of my best sets on a Maran got full looted by a level 15 lowbie goody who sat in his guild and in the inn typing 'eq' a few times then quitting. If thats what this guy was doing I'd give him grief and bitch, but come on, he was obviously fighting regularly.
