No, because ganging would mean you're not brave enough to take him 1v1. (n/t)

shaapa 680 May 22, 2011 10:59AM

Stop. Talking. About. Honor. With. Villagers.

alansmithee 351 May 22, 2011 09:40PM

Karr was a sphere Honor naked arial assassin.

Blackbird 288 May 24, 2011 08:44AM

I know that the village has NOTHING to do with honor. Zero. Zip.

shaapa 302 May 23, 2011 01:56AM

ok but Karr, the character, is an an honorbound......hence the post. (n/t)

Gildenarm 206 May 23, 2011 12:17AM

That's fine, like I said a character can write an honor concept for him/herself. But it is NOT a village concept. (n/t)

alansmithee 234 May 23, 2011 04:50AM

But that IS what he did and he then tried to get a discussion/ reflection going in the village

Gildenarm 273 May 24, 2011 01:23AM

Courage, honor. Same thing. You won't look courageous while acting dishonorable. You won't look honorable acting like a pussy coward. They go hand in hand. (n/t)

Gaplemo 226 May 22, 2011 10:59PM

They aren't. You're wrong. See Knights. (n/t)

alansmithee 253 May 23, 2011 04:49AM

I think i'm plenty right. If I was wrong, there would be no parity rule for berserkers, and villagers would NOT have been kicked for ganging/being dishonorable. And quite recently too. By your standards, 5 villagers could jump one mage..

Gaplemo 246 May 23, 2011 08:23AM

No, you're wrong. They weren't kicked out for being dishonorable. They were kicked out for lacking courage. Parity != honor. Village has no honor, nothing to do with honor, at all. It's courage. For honor, see Knights.

alansmithee 281 May 23, 2011 10:02AM

Ganking a weak mage with 10 people is not showing a lack of courage

daurwyn(VIP) 232 May 24, 2011 12:26PM

That is *precisely* showing no courage. You have it reversed. (n/t)

alansmithee 246 May 24, 2011 12:47PM

I think someone needs to take a trip to dictionary.com

Matrik 267 May 24, 2011 12:51PM

Parity, courage, and honor from someone who has never played a villager (yes, it's that easy)

Stevers 288 May 24, 2011 04:56AM

It is the way YOU see, nothing else.

shaapa 279 May 23, 2011 10:56AM

Except in this instance nobody gives a shit about the extreme.

Scrimbul 265 May 23, 2011 10:24AM

The extreme is the EXCEPTION to the rule. 99.999999% of the time, parity=honor=courage. You can microbitch all you want about it cause you can't stand being wrong, but you are. (n/t)

Gaplemo 250 May 23, 2011 12:26PM

I bet that was for lawyerman instead of me. (n/t)

Scrimbul 196 May 23, 2011 12:34PM

It was (n/t)

Gaplemo 222 May 23, 2011 01:06PM

Cut it out Scrimbul, last warning. (n/t)

NbM(VIP) 246 May 23, 2011 05:15AM

He is not allowed to be pedantic without getting crap for it. Gaplemo already just stated why.

Scrimbul 242 May 23, 2011 05:19AM

Re: He is not allowed to be pedantic without getting crap for it. Gaplemo already just stated why.

NbM(VIP) 258 May 23, 2011 05:32AM

Then delete his post starting the entire sub-thread, it's just as contemptuous. Be consistent in enforcing a civil dialogue or he will be the worst offender in making it thinly veiled. Next to Pro, that is. (n/t)

Scrimbul 238 May 23, 2011 05:35AM

His post had content to it, he was arguing a point, yours was an insulting personal attack.

NbM(VIP) 281 May 23, 2011 05:49AM

If. You. Don't. See. How. This. Is. Talking. Down. To. A. Toddler. And. That. Content. Is. Irrelevant. With. A. Title. Like. This.

Scrimbul 327 May 23, 2011 06:46AM

I feel like I have to reply to you alot. Why are you always so mad about nothing? (n/t)

ebonicphonics 248 May 23, 2011 07:07AM

Because people don't fucking listen to the patently obvious.

Scrimbul 305 May 23, 2011 07:43AM

It's pretty obvious it's his character's take

daurwyn(VIP) 249 May 22, 2011 10:48PM

Who said anything about ooc. Honor is not a village concept. This is all ic. (n/t)

alansmithee 199 May 23, 2011 04:52AM

You clearly can't see the point

daurwyn(VIP) 244 May 24, 2011 12:28PM

No. As I've said several times, a character can write what he wants into his role. Honor is not a Village concept. So you are agreeing with me. As you should. ;) (n/t)

alansmithee 236 May 24, 2011 12:48PM

exactly, parity isnt honor, thats why its okay for me to gang with my villager. (n/t)

Artificial 198 May 22, 2011 09:44PM

No, because ganging would mean you're not brave enough to take him 1v1. (n/t)

sleepy 266 May 22, 2011 10:43PM

No it doesn't

daurwyn(VIP) 215 May 24, 2011 12:31PM

Sure I am, I just dont care that my ally jumped in. In fact, I am teaching my enemy to be courageous by making him fight 2. (n/t)

Artificial 277 May 22, 2011 11:07PM

You are smelting and reforging him through trial and adversity. Fuck yeah, tatted.~

Blackbird 238 May 24, 2011 08:42AM

Somehow I've heard this IC before. heh. (n/t)

sez 246 May 23, 2011 06:00AM
