Maybe. But minotaurs as just as susceptible to symphonic echoes as most other races. My thoughts:

If I were going to make a rager warrior that wanted to be well-rounded and with an emphasis on killing bards, it'd probably be an Elf of some kind.

Elf Warrior - Mace + Spear/Staff - Striking the Shadows Footfall + Fortress of the Spirit -- Elf for resist charm, mace for some boneshattering and cranial, spear for long lasting bleeding to prevent the bard from regenerating too quickly. If you're a smart warrior player, you'll always land the first attempt at impale.

Defender -- Some healing for rope-a-dope, elf intelligence for higher mana and mana regeneration; which correlates to healing more. Also, a lot of people won't be expecting an elf rager to attempt a bash, so be sure to use consider and discern to see if you can throw out some bashes.

Primary Edges: Overcome Distortion, courageous, and one of the repertoire resist edges.

The only other thing I'd consider is going scout. I'm not sure how critical hit interacts with symphonic echoes.

TripHitNdip 366 September 08, 2011 02:57PM

hunterofcowards 194 September 08, 2011 03:37PM

they aren't using that most of the time, they aren't even using the best bard strats for village killing, villagers are just that bad right now (n/t)

Quas 178 September 08, 2011 05:08PM

This.

TripHitNdip 303 September 09, 2011 05:22AM

You run away for 8 ticks to wait for their preps to fall, and they have the head. Good luck getting it back after that.

Gaplemo 212 September 09, 2011 12:33PM

This is different from your bard how? fight, flee, flee, flee, sleep, flee, sleep, flee, flee. Maybe they need a healer with? (n/t)

funnyone 189 September 09, 2011 06:26AM

You mad bro? (n/t)

Quas 173 September 09, 2011 06:53AM

Meh, that's an assumption.

zannon 258 September 09, 2011 05:57AM

You never saw an Elhe or Jaguab bard then :)

Sam 298 September 11, 2011 09:42AM

When the village leaders are dead and their players revealed It will answer a lot of questions

pintose 234 September 09, 2011 05:50AM

You dont remember when Thror died 20 times a day? you know before he got the imm hookup ? n/t

wishore 172 September 10, 2011 08:22PM

Ah the convenience of the village

Artificial 263 September 09, 2011 05:46AM

Except when that person plans for that and sets up situations where you can't walk away :)

Meanwhile your shit is free, has lower/no cooldowns, and if you're a berserker, is better in every way (n/t)

Scrimbul 198 September 09, 2011 01:25PM

If someone rolled up a minotaur sword spec with the bash legacy, those bards would be crying. (n/t)

Gaplemo 205 September 08, 2011 03:58PM

Not really.

zannon 232 September 09, 2011 03:44AM

How about Mino polearm spec, with landslide, and mastered gore and cutoff? Seems like bards would have issues there. No fiend, no nightmare song. (n/t)

Gaplemo 227 September 08, 2011 05:24PM

I know cutoff isn't affected by echoes, I thought landslide drives weren't either though. (n/t)

TripHitNdip 183 September 09, 2011 05:24AM

agreed, Minos are bad vs bards (they have more songs then just fiend)

Quas 228 September 09, 2011 03:52AM

You'd have to be leader. Otherwise, scout = critical/discern, defender = bandage

jmc 223 September 08, 2011 06:11PM

Hand/Flail + hpm/bash legacy = dead Nexun Bard n/t

jmc 171 September 08, 2011 05:08PM

Except for the fact that enlarge/reduce completely nerfs rager bash. ~

_Magus_ 224 September 08, 2011 04:21PM

Most Villagers struggle with bards. (n/t)
