It wasn't a very good showing on my part, truthfully.

I focused on maledicting the bard, which was not smart--I should have opened with a hurl throat, then immediately incapacitated the assassin with artery, flee/hurl torso or forearm/flee hamstring.

At that point he wouldn't be a huge threat--landing the boneshatter on the singer would have been a good next step, and depending on how much health I had left at that point, trying to land a quick hamstring before finishing off the fight.

I definitely noticed Whirlwind of Steel kicking in when I dropped an opponent's dex--if I could get enough time to work folks over, Cry of thunder/cranial would usually give me the win, throw in bloodthirst if I needed (I usually died when I used bloodthirst, so I tended to not use it much at all.)

Faulkren vs Sorva and Sria...things go downhill quickly on Mount Kiadana

Sorva was tragic rep, and Apoc did that much damage. How much of a difference would Epic have made for apoc song? (n/t)

Thirst wouldn't have helped you one bit in this situation. However it is a tool every Rager should get to know in and out. It has more survivability that it enables then most folks realize. n/t

Jerrokrar 151 December 21, 2011 09:34PM

I think it's just berserkers, not every rager. (n/t)

DurNominator(VIP) 144 December 21, 2011 09:35PM

Meant every Berserker. Sorry about that. n/t

Jerrokrar 147 December 21, 2011 10:11PM

What? But I thought bloodthirst was an "I Win" button?

Sam 191 December 21, 2011 08:53PM

To be fair, he didn't have entwine and he did battle away from the eastern quite often. (n/t)

Coumidin 138 December 22, 2011 07:09AM

its a veteran battle player win button, not an I win button

Quas 193 December 22, 2011 05:24AM

Same with Ghrim. I hardly used thirst with my other two berserkers because it got me killed so often. NT

Sam 154 December 22, 2011 12:54PM

In the right hands it's a tool that I find increases survivability by about 2-300%. Just need to know when and how to use it in situations where you NEED it to survive. n/t

Jerrokrar 157 December 21, 2011 09:32PM

Barring an invoker blasting you with area spells, I disagree. I think it's more a tool to kill people.

Sam 181 December 21, 2011 11:03PM

Precisely what makes it so great for survivability. Scouts for instance will just be dead in a situation where Thirst can save a Rager. n/t

Jerrokrar 139 December 22, 2011 11:13AM

there is more than that

Quas 193 December 22, 2011 05:26AM

You thirst on everyone, so let's just drop that. But, artificial did have a point. A shifter who has to go through the process of getting ABS really has to flee when all a villager does is 'call thirst' it is fair. (n/t)

funnyone 147 December 22, 2011 06:55AM

conversly if you find your wands young then you have tons of relatively free power as a mage (n/t)

Quas 153 December 23, 2011 06:00AM

I find this particularly hilarious

Artificial 203 December 22, 2011 06:02AM

Incorrect

Quas 193 December 22, 2011 06:14AM

If you still don't find what you just said funny, I don't get it.

Batman 195 December 22, 2011 06:35AM

Well that is without going with player skill.

tesline 173 December 22, 2011 08:41PM

I had the opposite experience. NT

Batman 162 December 23, 2011 06:03AM

I couldnt get into the village.

tesline 160 December 25, 2011 12:30PM

Awesome..

thinhallen 190 December 21, 2011 07:58PM

Artificial 162 December 21, 2011 05:20PM

What if runnyone was in this log? Then he did get worked over by funnyone (n/t)

funnyone 158 December 22, 2011 03:31AM

funnyone 146 December 22, 2011 06:48AM
