If the average hero has 1000-1200 hp my ambushes at hero were in the 5-700 hp range without hitting vulns or protections. I also had ignite and some good gear at that point too. IIRC my sweet spot for instakills (or one hit from death ambushes) was roughly 25-35.

PS: I had combat statistician, not really sure how hard I hit in actual numbers.
