Spinebreaker seriously needs a reuse timer.

Possibly one shared with sleep effects, because goddamn...

The changes to sleep effects (physical/magical sleep protection, startled awake at 50%HP) were implemented due to the sheer obnoxiousness of incapacitating your target, bleeding them out, healing up, beating them down more, lather rinse repeat.

How is spinebreaker+drink blood any different? Its in many ways WAY worse than simple sleep effects, because at least they have beatable saves and if you're slept you can still call for help. Hell... spinebreaker doesnt even seem to use SvPara.

Ragers still can deflect spells with the broken spine? Seems a bit buggy, imho. (n/t)

danilevski 174 March 15, 2012 12:50AM

Interesting you would comment on that log.........NT

Sam 169 March 15, 2012 06:43AM

I don't see why it's interesting.

RobDarken 219 March 15, 2012 07:55AM

Spinebreaker seriously needs a reuse timer.

Forsooth 274 March 14, 2012 09:05PM

actually I don't think spinebreaker is succesful enough at hero

Quas 238 March 15, 2012 02:37AM

Because orcs are so OP and there are 100 running around using spinebreaker on everyone...nt

BlackFire 399 March 14, 2012 10:12PM

Orcs are actually pretty tough...

Forsooth 254 March 15, 2012 07:29AM

The dude who played Alzhingul (debriguy) had an absolutely awesome kill on me with Sritha.

Sam 218 March 15, 2012 12:16PM

To be perfectly honest, my primary beef with the skill is the lack of standardization. Spinebreak should produce and be sensitive to physical sleep protection. n/t

Forsooth 212 March 15, 2012 08:33AM

That makes no sense. It is much more akin to snare than sleep. (n/t)

laearrist 185 March 15, 2012 08:54AM

actually at least some anti-sleep things DO apply to spinebreak. (n/t)

Quas 155 March 15, 2012 08:57AM

I'm aware, the point was that it isn't sleep, so his desire for it to work like sleep makes no sense. (n/t)

laearrist 158 March 15, 2012 09:02AM

*throws up his hands in defeat* n/t

Forsooth 219 March 15, 2012 09:45AM

Misinformation....

hug 222 March 15, 2012 07:55AM

read help spinebreaker, you can defend yourself

Quas 260 March 15, 2012 07:54AM

I always wondered if a firenewt would wake you from spinebreak.~

ibuki 202 March 15, 2012 07:47AM

There are so many things wrong in this post (n/t)

laearrist 180 March 15, 2012 07:45AM

I've never had spinebreak succeed that much. Ever. NT

Batman 163 March 15, 2012 07:36AM

Actually...

Forsooth 306 March 15, 2012 08:00AM

Having fought Krunk, I think he landed like 20% of his spinebreaks on Atracius (n/t)

hopelessdwarf 158 March 15, 2012 09:39AM

Krunk logs are not representative of his whole experience, you know.

vortexmagus 220 March 15, 2012 09:26AM

I'm assuming most orc fights posted don't include when they initiate, try to spinebreak, and it fails.

Batman 207 March 15, 2012 08:09AM

his examples are someone with the edge and 100% in the skill which is the absolute best case scenario

Quas 191 March 15, 2012 08:59AM

I could see 66% with 100% spinebreaker and the backbreaker edge.
