You've gotta be kidding me. I agree that the whole villager entwine bloodthirst thing is played out, but saying it takes no skill just reeks of bitterness on your part. As in, you've probibly died to it like 10 times in a row and just decided to go hating on everyone who does it. The fact of the matter is that playing a flail spec is not easy. For one, you tank like absolute shit and unless your a villager, fighting pretty much any offense shapeshifter is going to end up in a loss.
Secondly, entwine has been nerfed to only last a couple of hours now, so if you happen to be a class that can heal or perhaps an A/B/S mage then you can easily last that long. Also, if they are fighting you with anyone else then the entwine timer is only one tick, which means it's basically a dirt kick. (If you're smart, there are ways to use that to your advantage.) Also, when someone entwines you, it means they are one weapon down for two rounds, which means if you're using your brain, you can take advantage of this. You can blind them through either dirt kick, blindness, etc; or you can extend the time they will be weaponless by timing your lag skill/spell to make the 2 rounds of no weapons, 4 rounds or more.
So, there you go. Entwine is NOT an I win button. However, if you panic and shit yourself when you see that you're entwined, then it probibly could be, but if you simply calm down and think about your options, you should be fine.. Ideally think about them before the fight begins.
P.S. The whole "It takes absolutely 0 skill" argument is just as played out as village flail specs buddy. EVERYTHING in this game takes some skill. Flyto air/offense shifters: some skill. Sleep sleep sleep Necros: some skill. Fiend first bards: some skill. Rot first shaman: some skill. Every single one of them, and when you make that argument, it looks bad on YOU.
P.S.S. If you think Flail specs are so easy, make one. Hell, make him a RBW. And go fight pretty much any sword/bash/flurry spec. Or krunk. Tell me how it goes. lol
