I'm aware that you can role-play being a grotesque war machine of death. That's definitely fine and I have no issues with that. However, you still have the powers of choice and decision as a player to chose to go out of your way to repeatedly kill the same person who, as it stood, wasn't anywhere near you at the time before combat was initiated.
Watching you fight a number of guys at the same time within Galadon while telling them to lick your boots is fun and all. Having you run into the forest of nowhere multiple times just to kill the same single character for the fourth time in what wasn't a very long play session isn't.
People want to talk about how to attract new players, or how to help them get involved, educated and advance. Maximizing your "role" you have made in your character as a steam rolling death puncher won't be achieved any further by the time the 4th kill of the same guy lost in a forest. All it will do is increase your PK ratio / stats which I'm now aware are more important to a lot of players for either edge rewards or for pbf boasting.
I know it's a PK mud and I'm ok with that. I'm not abashed to taking my lumps in the learning process, but there are thresholds.
The positives I took from it were that I should use a class with stealth to avoid people who insist on playing characters like that, and to try to learn more 'ranking' areas so that if I'm found at one, I can go to another.
Thanks I guess?
