ok, I'm trying to set up an alias like this

aliasname

commune "irritating sup name"

so if I type

aliasname somedude

the mud gets commune "irritating sup name" somedude

Here is the problem. 1) Anything I type after the alias name doesn't get sent. 2) It seems I need to put a tilde infront of everything in quotes to get it to go to the mud correctly? Help!
