free or paid - either is fine. looking for something good that can produce decent maps while logging/exploring. would prefer something that can add items to a dB (formatted text, Excel, etc. fine as wel) through configuration as opposed to writing a significant amount of code. next preference to build on that would be the ability to add additional fields/columns to the identification dB. any recommendations or starting points where definite to go or not go?
