I don't know if anyone else here has played this, but a long long time ago, during maple.can.net 999 days, a few people spammed CF advertising this MUD called Ground Zero. Modern times but post-apocalyptic setting. PK only, no swords and magic, but guns and ammo and explosives. A 20x20 room map with red and blue team hq on opposing corners nw/se sw/ne. Mobs, items, room exits are all random on each reset, which is done by killing general pataki and his clan of postal workers, and pressing the big red button which fires the nuclear warheads oblitterating everything. You can also grab one of the two tanks which takes 3 guys to opperate, drive/turret/gun, and do capture the flag. It's fast and fun, but NOBODY IS HOSTING IT ANYMORE!
