Everyone knows the IMMs used to have special accounts on Dio's before right?

Anyways...

In the past VIPs who have IMM'ed have left their post, either by choice or by Immortal Staff policy. They have almost always been welcomed back when/if they left the Imm staff. The most recent VIP to IMM was Nivek and for some reason the Imm Staff was ok with him staying in tact here. I and the rest of the staff were OK with it as well. I've known Nivek for years via the interwebs (bring back the poker days), and I would like to say that Nivek makes a great moderator. If he wasn't an IMM this wouldn't even be a topic of conversation.

The current impression from a vocal minority of the site is that the IMMs are running some game here, and that just isn't the case. There are numerous times where something happens to the GAME that we work together to help weed out or prevent. I could point out numerous people posting lists of shit that hurts everyone, and we work together to do our best to block and ban the offending people. Yet I don't hear anyone bitching about a takeover when that happens.....

For the sake of clarity...I'm not removing Nivek from his moderator post because of something he did wrong. I'm doing it, because I think it worked better when IMMs and VIPs didn't have to balance what's better for Dios vs the IMM Staff. Good intentions aside, people can see all kinds of shit in actions and I just don't want the noise on the forums anymore. If Nivek ends up deleting his IMM or something, then he would be immediately welcomed back as a moderator.

So.....at this point....

Wiril wasn't played by Stevers, and Nivek isn't a VIP anymore.
