Why would a goodie have a weak nightgaunt? I was under the impression that they could invest more mana and summon nightgaunts of equal strength, but the nightgaunts would be angrier and more difficult to bind.
The guy juiced up his earth elementals, had an avello at level 20, used haste and was conjuring ice devils 35. How much mana do you think he was using to do it? Does he have some other tricks?
You are using:
<worn on finger> (Invis) the ring of regeneration
<worn on finger> (Invis) (Glowing) (Humming) a band of living black amber
<worn around neck> (Glowing) a man
It's always the same. The cabal MO is to be exclusive. The incentives are to run the Cabal into the ground, that way the leadership gets more attention and praise.
Fine, then where's the alternative? Give me a cabal that's as easy to join as Battle so that I can continue to pvp with my mages in the mid levels when every other warrior becomes a villager.
Let's talk about how skewed the mid levels are for Village.
Fighting villagers at mid levels as a mage is like playing a Palestinian vs Israel. Your little terror rockets hit for grazes, and the F-16 deathblows destroy the entire block. Being a sporting gentleman that I am, I keep choosing the mage class and keep trying to take on the villagers. I've been in Scion many many time

Over the course of several characters, dating all the way back to Tavlin, I've seen this guy play through a ton of adversity, with little or no help.

So, I just gave him 4 extra thief points to see what he does with them. Good luck buddy!
