I will be totally honest:
If I had a PK win it was not 1v.1. I probably got lucky in a gang.
My most successful character PK wise was Kalgranesh with about 10 PK wins. Most of these were because people threw themselves at me and I learned how to type bash..... Thats 10 total in 150 hours of game play, also as a fortress squire.
I know I suck as PK but my new character is all about pus
Honestly, the first fight is how most of my PK encounters go....LOL. The second was after I got time practicing my defenses and going a bit more balls out in fighting. I have been trying to do that, and so far its going well with my new character.
Well that makes me feel better LOL. Being a military veteran I enjoy the rigid structure of the empire, but I am just not good enough at PKing to be a truely scarry person. Inandrot had no PK wins, like most of my characters.
So, anyone have some general tips for paladins? Is it armored like a warrior(+dam)? Or focus all on mana or HP? What are must have armors for the paladin class?
Any info will probably help, thanks!
If you want to do non cabal shifter exploring try air/defense. I always cabal, but I feel like this would be a nice shifter to look around with. Especially if you get pachyderm!
As a person who enjoys RP and sucks ad PK, please don't start the hate on heralds again! LOL
Honestly: I don't care what you do, it makes the game fun to see twists like hating the heralds. It breaks the boredom of sitting at the bar waiting for people to RP with.
Do you need to take shield charge to get all of these?
Shield Flurry – More frequent Shield Jab.
Shield Riposte – Shield Jab any who fight you.
Striking Shield – More effective Shield Jab.
Like the bird edges for warriors?
Just go to their shrine, pray that you came to speak with them about the religion, and let it go from there. Its good if you leave it open ended, that way you can explain to the imm why your there and who you are.
OK I have never tried a villager(because I suck at PK) but I was thinking something like this for my next character. I was thinking something like:
Dwarf pole/hand Cry/Gates
Could you explain why I would want to choose fires/whisper instead of cry/gates?
I want to suggest this. I had the fear of Imms for a long time until two things happened.
1. I chose Whiysdan as my Imm.
2. I made a herald
Whiysdan is such a fun time and there is no pressure when you talk to him. He is very nice and is generally good to talk to. Find some of his tattooed followers, you will get alcohol poisoning and insight to the religion.
If you need proof of my
I am 25, Married with three children (two step, one Biological). I am in college on saturdays, but I spend my week(for now) as Mr. Mom.
I do not fit into the older crowd but would have to agree that it is an aging PB that is the problem, even if we all talk like whiney kids :)
I agree. Even with Mikhian there was potential. I traveled with him and another at one point (dont remember what charater). He had a neat background and interesting conviction against mages. I never interacted with him after that, but as I could tell from the title, it went bad.
If you would just step off your stupid soap box that no one else even cares about, you would be freaking amazing!
I find shifter to be my go to class. I really enjoy the fact that I do not have to be super gear dependant. I will admit that I have not tried all the different types, but many of them have some one who should be able to explain it to you. I personally like Def/Off.(See Tinwold)
Pachyderm is amazing in PK, I could survive Greedor and Arratok's entwines/flurry and what not with it. Alligat
Can we just make it a bit easier to learn your skills?
I don't play invoker only because spaming spells annoys the shit out of me.
Assassin kicks make me angry.
Mastering all weapons with a warrior... boring.
I just want to put in less time. Like cut times in half or by 3/4.
I always wanted to try one. I am not good enough at PK to be a zerker, but I feel like being a defender would be cool. I am not to sure on scout though.
