Obviously things like slow or soften are immediately impactful, and I get the utility of the periodic damage of bleeding/poison, but how about straight stat loss? I've never seen a mob drop a weapon due to strength loss. If you boneshatter a mob, does it parry or dodge worse? Does it hit less hard? Does it do anything besides damage?
McGuire. Chen and I were introduced to the game as freshmen in highscool. There used to be a bunch of people at SA who played, all a few years ahead of us. I haven't kept in touch and struggle to remember names.
I've played since 97, alot in early 2000s, but not once since 2006ish. Came back about a week ago when out of town at a conference and bored. A lot has changed. But a lot is still the same. Sewickley represent....
It would be awesome to increase the playerbase back to 50-100, but shit if I know how.
Having played one for a good number of hours, this can be true... or not. If you play it safe, you'll be bored. However, you're a shield pally. Go balls to the wall. Walk into ganks of three and four, you'll probably live, you might kill one of them, but i guarantee you that you wont be bored. My two cents.
I did well until the mid 30s, then rape city. I think I lost 3 con in a day and a half. Rather gay that fort would call on battle and (evil) outlanders for help. Probably doent help that I was one of the only evils on against a large fortress pbase. Or that I was a new imperial. First neothief. I enjoyed it, but got a little bored. Every other thief had a simmilar build. This isnt a rant,
I've played on and off now for 10 years, since back in the day with the Pittsburgh crew. CF consumed a large part of my life in highschool, back when assassins had spells, there weren't any legacies, edges, orcs, or conjurers, shifters and muters were one and the same, and the most specialization you could get was warrior specs, ect. I've grown up, got a family, and yet still find
Lost 5 con in the last 5 hours. Part to exploration, part to getting roflstomped by just about anyone and everyone. Admittedly I had very little idea of what I was doing. It's a cool class, just too much spam c 'magic missile' for me. Sorry if my RP was nonexistent. I just wasn't feeling it. No goodbyes are really waranted except for Aloria. Thanks for showing me some t
Obviously things like slow/haste ect effects NPCs. What are your thoughts on -str, -dex and the like. If you're an assassin and fighting a rather difficult mob do you do it up with kans/kote/calt/axek/ground control? Or do you feel it's better to just go for straight damage?
Anyone ever taken it? I seems like it might be badass in combination with a polespec ie cuttoff. Is there any stat it relies heavily upon? I did a search and only turned up a thread where someone said it was terrible, but I like evidence. Thanks.
