Honestly, there are so few fights when you can clearly say practicing a skill to 100% made the difference, it is not even worth it.
The only time I would ever bother training skills would be playing a giant race because of how dumb they are. The rest will come in time and they honestly don't make or break a fight. PK is based on timing your skills, which skills you chose, learning to re
Personally, I don't like posts like this because it provides an answer, but not a solution. I have played on and off for many years, but I don't have to time to really in depth explore like a I used to. That being said, the playerbase is lower, groups are harder to find, so if I as either a new person or experienced but coming bacl person can rank to 25 by myself easy, that would brin
For those of you who knew me, it was fun. My wife is 37 weeks pregnant and we have an 18 month old daughter, so life is about to get hectic and I realized today, a caballed character is not ideal. I will come back to Battle when it all settles down, will likely play some explore characters I can log out quickly in the meantime.
Thanks to Akresius for some great interactions. One of two grea
As I rarely play mages because of their fragility, I agree with your theory of how people rage delete when smoked by a lowbie mage.
However, having played a few rager apps and characters, I feel like most lowbie mages delete before their player becomes too attached to them. A few deaths can lead to an "I'd rather delete and start over with less deaths" attitude.
A decent pla
Make a great role for a duergar assassin that I can submit to the immortal staff for approval of the character. Or at least some unique combination as such that would work
If it works, then I play the character, which would be my first in what, 3, I think 4 years now?
If it does not, I continue not playing.

Yes, I was level 29 so even though I wish I could publish my PBF, I have too much going on IRL and I am not getting it done in a timely manner because of my desire to continue CF
This character was amazing and truly refreshed my appreciation for this game. I have done several battle characters as some of you know, so this may not be too much of surprise. However I really haven't had a ch
This character was all crazy sorts of fun really. I'll try to post some sort of goodbye thread on the main boards, but since you have to login to post now, it's become a pain in the ass. Regardless, this was my first time I really tried a RP intense charcter. Unfortunately, I found myself ignoring too many things I need to get done IRL and instead was sitting at the computer. In rea
How unfortunate. At least it seems like the start of a decent quest. Regardless, that seems a little unfun, although the newbies will be saved. Does that mean theres no evil causing soul sucking items left anymore?
In all seriousness, you had bloody shackles, so you were obviously wanted. You're an outlander, for two. Three, clearly judging by previous responses your character is deemed worthy of this treatment. Four, you smartly sat at your own pit protectionless. And five, well, i've wasted too much time on you.
And I sure as hell wouldn't respond about it, but as a neutral party who hardly plays anymore, if you ARE a current fortie, don't let negative opinions ruin your experience. Some things are matter of fact and people shouldn't get offended. Other things are bandwagoners jumping along for the ride because they saw one thing and assume its going on 24 7 for everyone. Its been the s
I don't see how someone level sitting should earn pk oriented rewards, that seems stupid as they're already taking advantage of lower leveled characters. Or am I missing something? Plus fort characters are often rewarded for one/tenth of the work an evil char goes through
