Pk wins are where you land killing blow, assists are where you are involved in hitting someone who dies to another player. So in the pk wins list you will see them all, but wins will only be counted where there is a KB ((killing blow) next to the name. The rest has been pointed out in reagrd to the other stuff.by zannon - Main Board
Once had an orc I betrayed (which he should have seen coming since he had attacked me earlier, and then was dumb enough to ask me to group with him) go on an ooc bitchfest cause he lost a few pieces of gear. When he saw me a few days later, he then killed my character about 5 times in an hour, since I kept coming back to where he was cause I found it hilarious. Course my character was for fun andby zannon - Main Board
You can take a dex based flurry edge if you're dex and not strength based, and then it keys off that, but problem is you don't get partial hits anymore. Took it with a half-drow sword spec, and once I perfected flurry I could get six-8 pretty reliably on every flurry, though not all would always land, and so you end up getting maybe 50-60% land on average.by zannon - Main Board
Yes, had them all with a half drow w/whispers and wise recory. Healing rate is pretty high.by zannon - Main Board
My take on CF,which is of course is meaningless as it is really just applicable to me. I've been playing for a year. Cause I enjoy playing. And I can enjoy playing cause it's a game and I could give 2 ****s about my character, their stats and records and their gear really. Yes, I play like I care and don't run around saying please kill me and I play my characters however I wantby zannon - Main Board
I wonder if there is a way to purge them, maybe the something that makes you vomit or something, but probably not as they were not meant to be anything more than a death trap of sorts I would imagine. But some thief figures a way to abuse them. Good for him for originality, and poisoners seem to be crap anyway so I doubt the Imms find it a problem that people complain because some thief found a wby zannon - Log Board
Lynal says 'I dont believe the blade runner will hurt us.' A boy wounds you. A boy's kicked dirt misses you. Bladerunner screams and attacks Lynal! Bladerunner's smash MASSACRES Lynal! Bladerunner's smash MASSACRES Lynal! Lynal is DEAD!! I had to laugh at that, same round he said that he got killed. Hurts learning the ropes and not knowing what mobs aid othersby zannon - Log Board
Soul will not give a resurgence. Had it with fires, fought a lot near death, never happens. Just take it for the 200 hp if that is your goal. As to whispers, I took it with a half-drow dex sword spec just to try it out. Took all the healing edges and wise recovery. Keep in mind my basec con was 19, wise recovery only came in for sleeping/calm states. At normal speed, sleeping, could regen 250-400by zannon - Main Board
I had it with a character. Zannon was a storm giant sword with soul and fires. With gear he had about 1200 hp. Course he was my first character and was terrible, but for what I saw, once you were in the point where it might have made a difference, you have already lost the fight. Sub 40% was not too noticeable, sub 20% you may notice it. But then, you don't have the hp to stick it out usuallby zannon - Main Board
Think on his pbf it was turned neutral at 22 hrs, turned good at 43 hrs. So even he had, I imagine, some time where he lost powers, though given the flaws and all he had going against him he might not have since it had to be tough playing a 10 int 13 wis character. I don't think the whole necro goodie thing or doing alignment changes is as easy as you may wish, and I can't imagine itby zannon - Main Board
I got it for certain with a paladin I played. Maybe mages can not, but any melee oriented one can, so rangers probably can too.by zannon - Main Board
Warriors just do it more often I believe was what the Imms said when they placed that in since they are basically weapons masters. But all other classes can do it occassionally I believe. Though mages probably don't get much use out of it I would imagine, and likely they very rarely get improvements while the more martial classes (assassins/bards/thieves/paladins) probaly get it more frequenby zannon - Main Board
There are good armors that are light. Sure you might find golden or something platemail that's 3 hit 3 dam 20 hp 2 str, but you have to consider what you have to give up to wear it if it is 25 pounds. Generally metals and bone will be heavier for armors, leathers and skins will be lighter. Even with low strength, you can hold a decent amount, and each rank you gain does increase how much weiby zannon - Main Board
That one is not hard to find, the quarterstaff with the hooks. Not sure how good it is in terms of stats, probably decent though given the pain it can be to get. Captain of the guard uses it, he is near the sahuagin king through the whirlpool. Which, since nobody really goes there, is why you don't see many people using it I guess. If this info should not be posted, just delete this, buby zannon - Main Board
I've heard lots of complains about monks and mana, and I don't think they intend to change it, it's just a drawback of the class. If I were to go paladin again, I'd say go with the two hander or shield instead of the monk. Everyone and their mother rolled a monk when the dedication changes came out, and from what I've seen they just are not as good as the original dediby zannon - Main Board
I remember that fight, not sure if I had heroed thendrell yet by then but it was good times. Daethor was neutral though, but close enough. Wish I had a chance to fight you again at hero, but I think in caves I had little chance and I wasn't really into the pk side anyway. I do recall you actually lent a hand afterwards, but Zizzle showed up and made a fine mess of things.by zannon - Log Board
I don't think empowerment is too bad, course I only have had one empowered character in my short stint into CF, but I had it before the switch so essentially I had to wait around in pk range. New change makes it easier, because if you know the Imm's time you can find the shrine and pray there and during that 11-21 range you'll probably get a chance for empowerment, especially if yoby zannon - Main Board
See a few of them running around now though they seem to be low level, and I think the former Marshall (Haidoril or something) was a dwarf paladin, but I never really got a chance to see him in pk situations. Don't know how easy it is to actually rack up pk's as a paladin though, unless you get outside help in terms of insanely strong armors and weapons at low levels and beat people dowby zannon - Main Board
depends on what dain is, not every landed trip will necessarily lag the injured party depending on their skills and abilities. But I don't know that much, just know some classes, like paladins, can't immunize themselves from lag.by zannon - Log Board
I don't know much and I don't want to argue any of the merits or any of this, cause I'm still pretty inexperienced and don't know the game well enough, and really most likely won't continue to play it just cause of time constraints. (That and I might be the worst pk player to ever play the game, but whatever, was still fun) I do find it funny to see people get so workedby zannon - Log Board
The edge points are given for various things, like commerce, obervation and exploration, all things you see when you discuss guildmaster go to edge points to some degree. Then there is also Imm xp and xp for cabal activities and pk's. Also, the amount of xp as it translates into edge points will vary according to the manner of the xp, and I believe Imm xp translates into the most edge poinby zannon - Main Board
