Had a long hiatus. But it's hard to let go of CF, was glad to see it was still around when I decided to start another character.
I was Hyshrawr, still play occasionally. I had roughly five heroes at once not too too long ago, but that way leads to no time for anything else and lots of gear hording code rude awakenings.
So I still play, I just stick to one character when I do. And time pass
They're both applicants, no powers to take away, other than truesight that damages them to call. One is an assassin so doesn't need it, and the other is a thief. The guy killed himself here.
Evil Nightreaver Frost Giant and Good Maran Dwarf. Seems like a no brainer. I can understand taking advantage of the opportunity from
Gok's perspective. Can't bearcharge the shaman because of protective shield, but afterward. I'm amazed they had time to loot more than
his weapon at most.
How is it that someone who summons anyone (with intent to kill) has previously attacked anyone (with obvious intent to kill) etc.
add nausea think it makes a lick of sense to say something like 'Now you are on my kill list.' or 'You will pay.' etc. when duh
motherfucker you already tried to kill them and got the shit end of the stick. How is where they stand now, ie. on you

If the player didn't know there was a downside for the goodie by summoning goodies who would
likely get hit by an AoE attacks, he'd summon tougher mobs like Ghaelek, felar bandit chieftain,
(storm giants from Kiadanah would still be likely) and the like. So that turns it into an exploit over
a tactic.
Booting/demoting a goodie for killing a goodie mob in a regular run around situation might be viable.
Rewarding what amounts to knowledge of and abuse of the same, game mechanics where someone
puts another player in this kind of situation in combat seems like a fail. If he keeps this up and they
demote or boot all of the Fortress maybe the Imms will take another look at what is essentially a p
If 99% of those on qhcf who are likely the same percentage on the game
are clueless, then how are you any better? That's like an adult bragging
that he can beat up kindergarten children. That being said, I only impugned
the facts of the log. Pull your nose out of Beront's asshole long enough to
register the facts bro.
So PK boils down to counting from 1 to 2 to 3 as if that somehow explains how he died
because he was trying to safe Orzmus? Uh, yeah. Like I said, it was a good fight, but it
didn't look as though he died because he was trying to save Orzmus. Good luck with your math.
You tried to flee, were command locked from the look of things but saying retreat was your trying to save Orzmus who hadn't been touched yet?
This was just a two on one that went bad for you and you died from the looks of it, and it looks like Orzmus didn't press the attack.
Unless of course Orzmus was gushing or worse, but can't tell if that's the case from what we see here
Likely holding the harp for that azure bard who occasionally pops in. Bad news for the storm giant
and the bard because that harp is heavy. Clearly you don't know what an orb of fire does?
The Ranger in question likely had resist heat/cold up and he's a felar to boot.
That the spell costs 15 mana (if that's the cost) is crap, and makes it mostly incomparable with invokers throwing pillars or novas, has way less lag in casting
and eats movement which is over the top nice.
That being said, there are ways to mitigate most magic. What killed the ranger though was fleei
You're so funny. You're obviously skilled and very competent but dear god do you whine. If you ever reined that in you'd be a massive asset to the game.
As it is you are to an extent, but nothing compared to what you could be. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope you grow into that.
Short list...
Sometimes it makes no sense.
There is no ham in hamburger.
Neither is there any apple nor pine in pineapple.
If teachers taught, why didn’t preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
“Overlook” and “oversee” have opposite meanings, while “look” and “see” mean the same thing.
Exceptions to rules.
Word order.
Pronunciation.

You could summon aggro mobs here and there and depending on the relative level those lower level shit talkers would regret it. That being said, the smart ones would exit stage left in a hurry when they saw the ap or summoner in question start uttering that spell. But yeah... it's poor form.
After that last log, you'd think you'd learn to drop the eyes of the phoenix. There are times when it's great and others when it's a death sentence.
It's robbing you of the chance to pick when you initiate combat and all he has to do is bash.
Not sure why you're getting on his case, I saw the other perspective. In it Glikhardiz blames his groupmate for not
warning him that he was about to flee, like he supposedly warned Buon, though it wasn't anywhere in the log. So the impression
is that Buon did the killing not Odoes, because he fled. Close to a full loot true. Sounds like the shifter is smarting and has
been for a whi
That talisman of ultimate evil either needs to go or have neutral and goodie variants. See how much anti-paladins or evil healers enjoy fighting someone with an I win! item.
Having a mob cherry pick killing you or even chasing you out of the blue when you're younger is consequence enough really and stretches credulity. Losing the kinship skill also, plenty of punishment. Losing your specs as a result is just some Imm being a dick and overly heavy handed.
I get the impetus that it's a key aspect of CF that "that shiny piece of gear is limited so if you want it you're going to have to kill for it." but there are some things that are flagged freaking Legendary that have no business being unique or even unique-ish. Others that are complete crap but extremely rare, and that's ignoring all the nice stuff that's far rarer t
