So does this mean it was looted from the body and dropped on the ground so they'd have to take damage by getting it? Am I getting it right that looting it from corpse would not damage, but picking from ground would?
I can only comment on my own actions, but I can honestly say that I only hunt known enemies (cabal, alignment, class, race, or enemy from personal interactions), and I have never killed someone more than once per log-in who didn't practically ask for it. This fact shouldn't be all that comforting, though, knowing I'm a newbie POS who instills fear in nobody.
The entire contest forum has one thread from the last year, and its not even about role contests. I really liked seeing that sort of feedback, but it seems hardly like a reason to enter the contest since they don't seem to do them anymore (sadly).
But I'm relatively new to the game, I know very little of the landscape, and going through portals leads to a large portion of the leveling areas I'm aware of. If I'm playing a villager and I had to go hunting for a mage I'd be so very hard pressed to find one without going through a portal.
Is that because of my lack of knowledge? Perhaps.
