I have taken it on a fire giant before... Martok I believe it was and posted about apt learner with him before if you search back on the main board asking the same question. I personally would always take it on dumb races. I noticed a big improvement in hitting my skill learn but also getting good % gains(3% most times). Check the thread for detailed info as I cant remember off hand.
Thanks to everyone who interacted with me, either by ally or enemy. Enjoyed running with Niji, Jarlduz, Ilune, Kelastys, Daphrdan, Ashmon and prob some more who I forget. Had some good fun with this char at times, mostly pre hero to be fair as that is where I was more successful with my spec and legacy choices. In the end due to a combination of playing times slacking over the last couple of week
I was just wondering about this legacy. I've done some searching and got a good grasp of it but one thing I wasn't clear on is this.
Can you only see hidden people when you happen to be in the same room as them and type 'look 1.' on the off chance you were correct, or can you see them in the room just by entering the room and then see them sitting there for example, bit l
You were around for sooo long..Congrats on that..Something I wish I could do as I tend to get bored after awhile if things are going slow. A well played char who was always willing to help the newer players. Also you helped me to rank my first hero char even though short lived, so thanks!.
Hope to see you around sooner rather than later.
Zebayae
he was also just kick ass..
More recently in my limited experience so far, Turmi. Just because he was such a nice fellow and always willing to help you which is +1 when you are trying to learn the game. Enjoyed him lots when I played Zabayae.
I had the phase wasp as Zebayae and loved it. Unfortunatley I don't have its skill set saved. From what i can remember it;
*Attacks up to three times a round, Eviscerate at Hero
*Does poison damage
*Poison hits very often
*Can fly like an air form
*Is obviously flying and phased so can pass through anything
*Can get, give, drop items. Carry 1 item only. Also can rejoin you when on sa
Just need to word things differently.
For example on how to explain the +5 damage, say something like
Aye, you will hit harder with this, perhaps break another five bones in their body with a single blow!
On directions just say something like;
'Head two paces north, east twice then nip west and you will be there'
People will generally get the idea of what you are trying to sa
I mean, I have played this game before prob 8 years ago?? (When did tar valon get renamed?)
So when i decided to return i did atleast have a general idea of what i was doing. Back then though the player base was far bigger and i generally only had chars ranked to the mid twenties and all i did was rank and try to pk people. It didnt matter that i didnt know all the leet areas/gear/knowledge/wand
Wow, well that was pretty neat. Awesome fighting from a great player, I struck you as Drasic before I deleted awhile back and you handed me my ass easily.
Just a quick noobie question though, I noticed this in the log;
The power of your armor supplication unravels.
The magic of your fly spell unravels.
Caused by the archon dispelling you.
Just with you being a villager I thought you co
Ah such a shame, thought you were a pretty cool char and enjoyed our couple of interactions. Both ranking with you on the demons, our little fight in the chasm as I was retrieving and you handing me my ass below the Isle. Was looking forward to grouping with you again.
Don't let the BS get you down and come back stronger to kick some fortress ass! Maybe a Nexun?
Tried another random wilderness room and couldn't conjure a water one. Managed to find a wilderness room with a drinkable source of water inside where I could also draw a circle and bingo, conjured a water elemental.
Where does one conjure these?? Am I being thick or what. All I seem to get is 'you cant conjure that here' message.
You cant draw circles on or in water, I have tried conjuring near water, ponds, fountains, rivers, some random rooms etc but cant ever conjure one. What am I missing??
Are nexuns allowed to group and learn with goods/evils when everything is balanced or is that frowned upon as you will be aiding either side to gain power and may cause iimbalance?
If not how do you rank up effectively when things are balanced as it seems damn hard to get a group of neutrals together.
Also if everything is balanced and you get attacked, whats the rules reguarding pk. Can you
Thanks to all those players who helped me rank this guy up. I wanted to give one a try and did fully enjoy him for the most part. I went offence/air (Golden Eagle and Wolverine) and I gotta say I love air forms, getting around is so god damn easy and great for getting out of sticky situations.
In the end, being able to play only really at the weekends slowed my passion to play him, also I neve
I normally go exploring in places I wouldn't normally dare to venture or where I have never been and take a few risks in doing so, normally end up dieing to some mob I walked into. This way it forces me to explore and I actually gain something from being wanted.
Yeah. I very regularly got 4%, minimum 3% with Martok (fire warrior) and also did notice I got the % in my skill learn quite often. Used it to skill learn my sword spec skills will good results. Though maybe I was just lucky??. I personally would take it again on low int races as I hate spamming skills.
Ah ok, goes to show how much I know lol. Thought the extra mana would be key for conjuring the stronger elementals etc. So how does higher chr effect things? Is it just how happy they are when they arrive or is there more to it.
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn stuff.
Thanks
What sort of bonus do svirfs get as a conjurer?, how much?. I presume its only a bonus to earth elementals.
How do they compare to a gnome, which I believe is the main conjurer race choice due to mana and hp potential.
Is svirf more of an 'leet' player choice to make them work and keep gnome for people like me :)
