I started playing when the MUD first came online, 93-94'? with a large break recently .I'm from NYC <br>Back then it was more like a MUSH than a MUD, alot of OOC social interaction. This was "pre-purge". I remember equipping Jullias thief character with red dragon equipment and when he imm'd tattoo'd me (I was the first) and later untattoo'd me because I was being annoying. <br>Then if I remember correctly I left the MUD with Morgath (an IMP at the time) with a bunch of players to go to another MUD (Turning Point which did well in a niche) because people were fed up with the IMM staff at the time. <br>It's funny I remember character names from 12+ years ago because back then people were hardcore MUDders and spent literally 13 hours a day on the game 7 days a week. We must have interacted at least 2000hrs together doing pointless things such as strangling chickens and cleaving smurfs. I'm amazed I got through High School. <br>Some names I remember: Starlet, Minerva, Stormace, Vlad, Saberhagen/Darknesss, Abrahaman, Gallia, Jabberwockee, Vladimir, Iswan, Felina, Dru, Thea, MacLeod, Ishmael (Some guy who kept talking about Hephelants), Holtzendorff, Boltar (first necro who holds the PK record for all time imho). It was a chatroom/game for the most part, you pretty much knew every regular on the MUD...these days it seems more anti social <br> <br>> Was just wondering, where alle the players are from, and how you all begin to play Cf.. ?? <br>> <br>> Im from Denmark, as my name tells, and ive been playing since 1998 i think.. have taken some long breaks in the mean while, but on and off since 98.. but im far from bein a good player.. just thinks its fun
