Yet another Travian question...

Here's my current production:
Lumber: 24 per hour
Clay: 24 per hour
Iron: 20 per hour
Crop: 5 per hour

Right now I have at least 1's in every slot. I have a two in one lumber slot, a two in one clay slot, and a three in a crop slot. So why is my Crop production so painfully low?
