clarification

October 03, 2013 03:44AM
just to be clear, my CURRENT character is my first hero and is going to die with something close-ish to 1:1 (maybe 40 PKs, most of them solo) and is a class I feel comfortable with. Solo ranked it, went slow, PK'd through the ranks, etc. Not sure if it's kosher to give it away yet, but it can't be too hard to figure out who I am.

Looking to do something different now, and was thinking warrior.

Having a 1:1 ratio with your first hero is nowhere near bad. Damn prodigy. (n/t)

Newb hero warrior WILL get steamrolled. Try shaman or conjurer. (n/t)

True. But he could take it easy and use say 100 hours to get a feel for warriors before going above lvl 40. The other classes are not easier to figure out. nt

Landslide is drive and size dependent (n/t)

hopelessdwarf October 02, 2013 12:50PM

Skill has a very minor adjustment on landslide... it's all size based.

Jerrokrar October 02, 2013 09:59PM

I thought it was the other way around, though it doesn't matter much, I could drive just fine as a svirf without the legacy except against certain shifter forms that have sure footing

No, he should be mainhanding a flail and dualing an axe or mace, axes are piss easy to dodge. (n/t)

In tt++...

Death_Claw October 03, 2013 08:46PM

Good tips. I'll stress the do not rank too quickly part. It is crucial to getting a feel for how things work. Use your skills when you get them. Go out and experiment. nt
