I liked it.

Granted I got it as an RC reward and I don't think I'd of picked it otherwise. Though after playing with it I can see why some say it's under utilized. The only advise I can give is to still gear for saves and don't treat the legacy as a replacement for them. With good saves and the legacy I never really had to worry about spellcasters outside of RNG/shit luck.

Calming the tempest a waste of a legacy?

It's good legacy vs any commune(spell) class

Loved it with Odrallag, made a noticeable difference and basically made me unsummonable. (n/t)

igsoeh November 16, 2013 05:26AM

Odrallag was my bane. Stupid two-handed maces not triggering quills. (n/t)

BattleCharmed November 17, 2013 11:34AM

Porcupine is bullshit.

igsoeh November 17, 2013 06:10PM

Just be happy that with the damage modifications, porcupine isn't near as potent as it used to be. (n/t)

BattleCharmed November 17, 2013 07:18PM

Oh rly? Did not know there was a reason to wield two-handers aside from giant/paladin. (n/t)

Matrik November 17, 2013 11:35AM

One of my favorite kills was with Battleaxe of Mondurian on a porc.

falchiron November 17, 2013 02:06PM

All two-handed weapons have a chance at negating quill damage.

BattleCharmed November 17, 2013 11:40AM

The Felar vs. Porc memories that I intentionally repressed are re-emerging.

wrathpuppet November 17, 2013 12:09PM

Yeah, at least nonvillagers can enlarge and wield a two-hander + shield. For villagers, I have no sympathy (because they are villagers). (n/t)

Murphy November 17, 2013 06:45PM

Does that work? I was under the impression it mattered whether you were wielding it two-handed vs one-handed, not whether or not the weapon was flagged one way or the other. nt

It may have seemed to be higher, but it wasn't.

Srev November 17, 2013 11:44AM

Good know. Not that I'd ever carry one around just in case, but if I ever have a porcupine nemesis... (n/t)

Matrik November 17, 2013 11:43AM

When wouldn't you? I'm not a porcupine expert, by any means

Srev November 17, 2013 11:48AM

I liked it.
