The thing about h2h at the low ranks is your h2h "weapon average" is level based. That's not to say you can't do it, just depends on how you want to play. If you want to be super aggressive in the midranks sure. If I was doing pole or sword I'd definitely want to take those first since they have a number of challenging skills to improve (much more challenging than iron hands) like flurry, riposte and cutoff. Likewise all the defensive specs that rely on bash to lag (sword/polearm) tend to work better at the low ranks for PVP because of the lack of prevalence for bash protection - IE, I'm not sure you need the extra offense from h2h to wreck mages and priests and other warriors in those level brackets.
