My dad's current Moccamaster was in heavy workplace use for three years before he got it in 1989.

So it has been in frequent use for, what, 28 years now? Still working fine. The glass pots have been replaced at times, though, as they sometimes break when dropped on the floor and the handles erode over the years if constantly washed in the dishwasher.
