That is not necessarily the case. 1-2 hours per day is an active player in my opinion.

This is one of the reasons why the immortals have stated that sometimes leaders are chosen that cover different time slots. Nice for players outside the USA (n/t)

I mostly agree with this. As a leader, I found the best were the ones that just made you feel "comfortable" following them (into battle, into exploring, just rp'ing, etc).
