...my advice is to drop the Staff & Spear/Polearm specialization idea altogether. Instead, combine two light-weight specs such as Whip/Hand-to-hand, or Whip/Dagger.
While a Felar warrior receives some unique advantages from specializing in Staffs/Spears that warriors from any other race do not, seemingly making them the quintessential Staff/Spear specialists, this is balanced out by a Felar being uniquely susceptible to strength loss disarming tactics. By choosing light-weighted specializations instead, you will nullify this drawback almost entirely, allowing you to take full advantage of a Felar warrior's Human assassin dodging potential + Fire Giant Warrior HP pools/HP regen combination.
Although the Staff/Spear specialization will render a Felar an excellent tank and grant you a breeze of a ranking experience, in PK situations you'll soon find yourself all but compelled to choose legacies that help compensate for your uniquely low strength. By choosing light-weighted specializations, you can sidestep this issue and choose legacies that enhance your inherent advantages/staying power/killing power instead.
This is often overlooked, but Felar warriors don't need the Staff/Spear specialization to shine as a tank at all. A basic, bread & butter sword & shield & feint set-up will already make Felar warriors outstanding tanks during ranking as it is.
