I know this much: Ill never play another necromancer. They have about 18 edges that I feel are a necessity for success.

They didn't implement any new ways of getting edgepoints, to compensate for the nerf.

I think Nurok is misreading it. EXP CAP is the same. Total edge points is halved since you only get them half as fast. (n/t)

Direct from Umiron's announcement post "The rate at which observation and exploration experience yield edge points has been halved. For example, instead of getting edge points per 1,500 observation XP, it will now be per 3,000. See HELP EDGEPOINT SPECIFIC

Same juice, but there is a total XP cap at 30k, so you hit that faster and only have half as many edge points compared to before. (n/t)

The relative value isn't decreased. Only the absolute value. Since it is a competitive PvP game, absolute value doesn't matter, only relative.
