In the email application I requested any melee character EXCEPT thief…and got given a duergar thief. :P.
Anywho, I discussed with Amar how I was going to be on vacation when the quest started and we had it worked out how I was coming to the surface late following my brother after tidying up our business deals yada yada yada, and she was going to set me up with a large sum of gold to 'invest' in key players of my storyline, explaining how I got the gold from the aforementioned business deals but….I ranked to 30 and got inducted and never got any gold or saw my IC brother so…I petered out after about lvl 35.
