And I don't recall how. But, I think if you go to view->preferences->general and mess with the check boxes (especially the MUD Output and Status Bar ones) you may fix it too.

I ate a nasty PK death with I think my first gnome shifter once using ZMud and the same thing happened. I just uninstalled ZMud and started using telnet and the website client :)

For me I would enter a command and when I hit enter NOTHING would go through. Is that the same problem you're having?
