The fire giant HP pool & regeneration, Human assassin dodging and staff/spear parrying combined with an inherent 100% hand to hand has a great synergy with the Fires of Adversity legacy--arguably the greatest of any race altogether. The more you stack up damage resistance (alignment, preps, cabal powers), that synergy rises exponentially.

I was able to outlast a great many opponents beyond both my skill and gear-level with this combination. PK & PvE alike. I often wondered what I could have done with things like regular stone skin preps or a Battlerager's resistance with that character.
