"in the case of champion pressing him removes his only defence with parry" ... what do you mean by "pressing him"?

also

from Trample helpfile : Footware that is equipped to deal extra damage modifies the trampling damage.

Do you know any orc footware (beside spiked toed boots) that deal extra damage ?
