A discussion about save vs breath.

Generally speaking, is gearing your character for save vs breath worth what you sacrifice in terms of stats & damage roll when attempting to fight powerful dragon NPCs? With the highest-level dragons being "hooded" at hero, the odds of making the saving throw aren't in your favor even when the player stacks up a great deal of save vs breath equipment.

Is slapping on save vs breath gear in every slot you can worth the trade-off once you manage to bring your saves to a critical mass? Or, is simply better to ignore save vs breath altogether, and wait until you can get a healer/bard/invoker set-up instead? Would love to hear some perspectives on this from our more seasoned dragon slayers.

P.S.: Assume the character to be a warrior or a ranger for the purposes of this discussion, not a paladin or shaman.

Svsbreath will help you from getting the added affects.

Without Svsbreath though, you die... damage based on dragon's HP
