That series had a huge effect on Carrionfields early on, from Tar Valon to the Blight. I also had a Stone of Tear area in the game at one point, but the mud had changed and we started removing all of the copyrighted stuff and pushing towards original works only by the time it was nearly ready to go.

It'd be interesting to see if they can keep the movie true to the books, or if it'll just be another terrible fantasy world adaption to throw on the pile. Seeing how similar it was to Lord of the Rings, there's going to be a lot of comparisons.
