Hrmm, anyone ever had a Deafen with a -1 timer on it?

I wandered somewhere I shouldn't have, though I knew it was there. But it was not supposed to be an indefinate deafen and now I don't know how to get rid of it. Can't heal it, can't ask anyone to get rid of it...bleh.
