I'll happily show people their wands, but the people I stick to are the ones who have a set I don't have full knowledge of.

I then show them how to gain Detect Artifact, take them on a tour of places I've not yet been able to verify (but looked wandy, and were added to my 'suspect' list) and then add to my wand list like this. It's highly beneficial for both parties and how I've managed to map nearly all the sets over just 3 magey characters. Sometimes I get lucky, and by telling them all the ones I know they pipe up and say 'actually, I knew these two, but you just told me my third'. That's happened once or twice, and it's really cool when peeps share :)
