Ok, seriously.
When you talk about the "last 20 of us" leaving the mud permanently, the reality is that it's not because
of code problems, bug fixes, or temporary issues with game balance. I'm not even giving up on the mud
because of shitty-named noobs full-looting my breads. I take it in stride, and act like a man instead of
whining about it. The Immstaff runs this game of their own volition, using their own money and machinery,
and you know what? Occasionally things don't get done on YOUR schedule. If your hot MUD was so
fantastic back in teh day, go compile it again and shut up.
The playerbase is depleted, and will continue to be, until enough of us get sufficiently rich (AND/OR) enough
of our children leave the house so that our playtime goes up again. Until then, some of us might play anyway
in the few casual and random hours that we can, and just explore. It's still a fantastically written game that,
SURPRISE SURPRISE...... you get out of what you put into it.
