I'v heard in the past animists were good at locating folks due to track+animism. How does animism help exactly? All it does, for my character at least, is show who or what is carrying the object in question. I'd have to already know what they were wearing so that seems kind of pointless.

Does it show more information based on proficiency? Another mud I played showed more info based on int/wis scores (for locate object) but that didn't seem to make any difference once maxed.

Only thing I can think beyond that is maybe locating the player's corpse. Suppose that could be some bit of useful knowledge. Working on maxing it so I'll post with results once I do.
