Over 1/3rd of the classes are magical. It would make sense that there would be enough people in 6 classes to join together and form a society around their common bond of magic. I will admit that double hp + group gate + blind/plague/damage = OP'd, but I always liked the concept of a magic oriented group with a thirst for greater knowledge.

Perhaps if they were brought back they could have a greater focus on the acquisition of knowledge and remain semi-peaceful until pushed into a corner. I have no doubt that i'm biased in this because I always favor the magical exploration chars, but it would be nice to have a home.

I would be interested to hear the counter argument for why a group devoted to intellectual advancement would be a bad thing.
