I understand that imm given, observation, exploration, and commerce xp all count towards edge points, but what about quest xp?

I know that some quests give an understanding of commerce which helps edge points, but what about the quests that just give xp?

I wouldn't be surprised if this has already been discussed but i tried to search and couldn't find anything.
