How about a minor coding tweak to the Forum / Wiki software...

.. to make it so that only those who are logged into a forum account that has been registered for longer than XX months can edit the Wiki?

That would drastically slow down the rate at which malicious users could deface the Wiki. It's not perfect, but honestly, that's about as good as you're gonna get on a damn wiki.
